Less building permits new owner-occupied house, more for rental properties
Unfortunately no surprise: 16 per cent fewer building permits were granted last year than in the previous year. This is reported by the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS). Amsterdam addresses housing crisis
Met een plan voor meer betaalbare en passende woningen in de stad, wil Amsterdam de wooncrisis in 2040 hebben opgelost. In het voorlopige plan Amsterdamse Aanpak Volkshuisvesting (AAV) staat hoe we dat willen doen.
The city is very popular, causing purchase and rental prices to skyrocket. Investors are buying up homes and renting them out for house-high prices. Play away temporary rental contracts
Next week, the House of Representatives will debate an initiative bill to abolish generic temporary leases.
Do politicians play off temporary rental contacts right away? It will be offered in the Lower House on 21 February. Politicians are invited to quartet and play the ‘Temporary Rental Contracts’ quartet right away. Tenant likes renovated property better
Tenants surveyed consider a comfortable and healthy home the most important. Followed by a safe home and an energy-efficient rental property. How the house looks on the outside is the least important to them.
Tenants who are involved in the renovation because they are listened to beforehand and afterwards are clearly much more satisfied with their home. Thereby, it seems that tenants do not use heating and ventilation properly, which (may) cause additional complaints. Read full article in dutch…
